Movie Action Figure

One of my favourite games, the Prince of Persia is getting his own movie next year in May. The Price of Persia movie action figure will be produced by McFarlane along with the movie. So far, there are no designs revealed yet but if it is from McFarlane, you know the action figure is going to rock!.

Prince of Persia has been a game figure since the 1980s, which is when the first game was produced. At that time, it was known as a notoriously hard. It is still hard. The kind where you will want to throw your console out the window.  After the 80s, the character laid domaint until 2003, where Ubisoft revived the character with a new Prince of Persia games for all the consoles. That game was an instant hit and I believe there is now Price of Persia 2 & 3.

Inevitably, the character got its own movie and is finally releasing in 2010. I can’t wait for the game and for the movie action figure as well. McFarlane plans to make figures in both the 4-inch and 6-inch scale, and the smaller scale will also get horses (not much in the way of vehicles in ancient Persia, I suppose) and a playset.  The figures are planned to hit retail in May next year, around the same time as the movie is planned.
