For such a popular, merchandise will surely be one way the company will monetise the IP. Among all the different things that the company can do, I think toys will be big. After all, children love toys and dinosaur train toys look very appealing to them. Currently, there has not been much revealed about the toys series so I guess their fans have to wait.

Besides the low prices I think dinosaur train will charge will open more market for these characters. Once there are screen shots or images available, i am post them up here

The movie action figure however, leaves a lot to be desired. So far, the quality of these toys are not really up to par. You can see that there has been not much attention paid to them. Compared these to the likes of spawn action figures and you will see the difference. Speaking of which, why can’t macflarance toys be the ones making the new moon action figures. This will definitely improve the quality of the toys and make fans like us happy.

In case you are not interested in action figures, there is also the new moon clothing line for twilight that you can buy. This new line basically contains all the fashion items related to the movie and you can buy all sorts of things from tees to jackets to accessories. No far, not much news have been announced. What is known now is the names of the characters that will be featured in this new line. They are Shepard, Grunt, Tali, and Thane. If there is any more news, expect this site to report on it.

This movie action figure is straight from the Iron Man 2 movie that is going to be released in May 2010. The toy will come with a bonus Armor Assembly Station base which you can plug the action in and out

Here is the barbie twilight doll for Bella.  It looks like all barbie doll and in fact, doesn’t look one bit like Bella at all. I guess that is intentional to keep the barbie doll look consistently. Whether you like it or not, this is a good complement for edward model above and I would recommend you to buy these new moon action figure as a set rather than individual pieces.

Anyway, iron man2 is coming out next movie which means more action figures will be produced.  The thing about iron man figures is that they come with very niffy features that most action figures don’t possess. Plus, the amour look great when placed in the shelves so they are definitely something that a collector like me would go gaga over.

Take a look at the picture above. Isn’t the amour looks badass. It will be better if it comes with different colours like black or blue etc. I wish I could buy but stupid Amazon don’t deliver to my country. Shit!

Well, my immediate task is really to hunt down the iron man movie action figure atmospheric diving armour.

Prince of Persia has been a game figure since the 1980s, which is when the first game was produced. At that time, it was known as a notoriously hard. It is still hard. The kind where you will want to throw your console out the window.  After the 80s, the character laid domaint until 2003, where Ubisoft revived the character with a new Prince of Persia games for all the consoles. That game was an instant hit and I believe there is now Price of Persia 2 & 3.

Inevitably, the character got its own movie and is finally releasing in 2010. I can’t wait for the game and for the movie action figure as well. McFarlane plans to make figures in both the 4-inch and 6-inch scale, and the smaller scale will also get horses (not much in the way of vehicles in ancient Persia, I suppose) and a playset.  The figures are planned to hit retail in May next year, around the same time as the movie is planned.

Chaske Spencer plays the role of a Lakota Native American called Jacob Black. In that role, he will be come a werewolf to fight the vampires stars of the show. In the first movie, this was already hinted at when the main actor mentioned that “when he is not around, the wolves will come and gather” or something similar. Anyway, I think this character will become popular and so will his action figure.
